The September ballot for the 2026 AJ Bell Great North Run is open. Enter now for your chance to be part of the world’s biggest half marathon on Sunday 13 September. Since 1981, the Great North Run has captured the imagination of runners across the globe, and in 2026 we mark an incredible 45 years of the famous event. Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of a milestone year!

Don’t delay – the September ballot will close at 23.59pm on Sunday 14 September 2025, and the ballot will be drawn on Monday 15 September.
